About

The Production Report is a specialist, B2B information service for anyone involved in the UK scripted screen sector.

Founder and editor-in-chief Nia Daniels brings two decades of expertise in the film and TV landscape - with a contacts book to match - to The Production Report. Nia is well known throughout the industry, largely from her many years as editor of highly-respected brands The Knowledge and Production Intelligence.

We aim to offer one or all of the following on the productions that we list, with the crucial facts confirmed first-hand: Film or TV project title; production company; pre-production and/or shoot dates; key departmental hires and locations/studios.

The Production Report enables you to stay ahead of the game about who is producing what, where and when, while building your network of contacts and knowledge about UK scripted production. It is an invaluable resource for anyone working in the screen sector today.

FAQs:

What is the minimum subscription term?

The minimum subscription term is one month. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the paid term, when the card you paid with will be charged for another month. The same autorenewal system applies to yearly membership.

Do you provide personal contact details for producers and line producers?

Owing to GDPR and NDA restrictions, we cannot publish personal contact details for the Heads of Department (HoDs). When possible, we may list a generic email address for the production as a whole. We aim to provide as many key names as we can to get you started on making your approach.

NB: Different HoDs board projects at different times, so we may update several times across different stories on a particular project, as things progress. We suggest you keep your own diary based on the information we publish. You will receive an email alert when there is new content on the site.

What types of productions do you cover?

We cover scripted productions (features, dramas and comedies) that will be utilising UK crew, locations and service providers. We do not cover short films or low-budget projects.

Can anyone subscribe?

The Production Report is a B2B offering, provided exclusively to UK-based customers only, acting for purposes relating to their business, trade, craft or other professional activities. It is not available for personal or consumer use. By subscribing, you confirm that you are acting for such business or professional purposes and not as a consumer. If you tick the box on sign-up saying you are UK-based but provide an overseas billing address, it's possible that your subscription will be cancelled.

How do I renew my subscription?

Renewal is automatic. Your card is charged again at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly depending on your plan, so your access carries on without your needing to do anything.

If a payment fails or your subscription has lapsed, sign up again from the subscribe page to restart it.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Sign in and go to your account page, then choose to cancel your subscription from there.

Your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, and it won't renew after that.

How do I find articles that have been published at different times, with different details on the same production?

Once logged in, use the magnifying glass at the top right of any page to bring up the search bar. Then simply put in the title of the project you're looking for (don't put the series number for returning dramas) and any stories on the site that are related to that project will appear.

What if my question isn't answered here?

Send an email to info@theproductionreport.co.uk and the team will respond to your question.
